Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination conducted by CBSE for admission in various engineering colleges across India. JEE (Main) Paper-2 is conducted as Pen & Paper Based Examination only and is used for admission in B.Arch and B.Planning courses.
CBSE is only an examination conducting body. After declaration of result the data is handed over to SEAT ALLOCATION BOARD or the concerned state Government/institute for Seat Allocation Process and admission procedure. Before applying for JEE (Main & Advanced) candidates are requested to read the eligibility criteria prescribed in detail.
The Syllabus for JEE (Main) Paper 2 consist of Three Parts – Part I – Mathematics, Part II – Aptitude Test and Part III – Drawing Test. The questions in Part I and Part II are of MCQ type, while the Part III questions are to test drawing aptitude. The candidates who have also opted for Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.) of JEE (Main), are advised to bring their own clip board, geometry box set, pencils, erasers and colour pencils or crayons.
